How do blackhead-clearing scrubs work? Do they dissolve the blackheads or remove them by pieces?

I'm using Clean and Clear Blackhead Clearing Scrub, but it hardly seems to make a difference since the blackheads are still where they are after a week of using it daily... It's as if the microbeads only target the very surface..... What else can I use that will work well?

I despise strips.... Any other cleansers? Or toners? What? How do blackhead-clearing scrubs work? Do they dissolve the blackheads or remove them by pieces?
The scrub only keeps it clean but it the black heads are already there you have to get them out....

Give yourself a facial......

steam your face (see below) so that the pores open up, then gently squeeze the black heads out (use tissue over your fingers).....once you are done squeezing, splash your face with cold water to close the pores, then apply aloe vera gel or witch hazel to calm down the skin and keep it disinfected. then tone and moisturize.

steam your face by filling the basin/sink with boling water.

put a towel over your head, put your head over the basin/sink, seal in the steam around your head and basin, and breathe! -- Steam for about 5-10 minutes.

Don't squeeze too hard or you'll get pock marks on your face!

If the black head doesn't come out easily, leave it alone.

You can also use a face mask to help dry them out.

Do this weekly to begin with then once your skin improves, you can do it less often.

Black heads are basically dirt trapped in your pores so you have to wash your face well everyday with face wash. Don't scrub too often because that will strip off your skin's natural moisture and goodness! How do blackhead-clearing scrubs work? Do they dissolve the blackheads or remove them by pieces?
you should steam your face by getting a good facial and let them do the things they do to cleanse it and help you get rid of the blackheads, which are there cause they are trapped oil in the follicles...steaming will open the pore and let the esthetician bring them to the surface and then the scrub she will use will help to remove them...
i dont know how it works but i know it works i use it its great
u might wanna try this

Skin Problem : Blackheads

Blackheads are not dirt and cannot be washed away. A blackhead results when dead skin cells and sebum block a hair follicle near the surface of the skin. Blackhead causes the oily skin pores to be enlarged and the texture becomes coarse and rough. When a pore is fully blocked, a pimple can result. Blackheads cause acne.

Treatment of Blackheads

Do not remove them forcibly. Drink plenty of water and fresh fruits and fruit juices. Keep the skin clean by washing it with plain water. Wash the face with a medicated soap using warm water. Consult a doctor.

Home Remedy for Blackheads

You can buy some green tea (very good to drink as it鈥檚 full on anti-oxidants). After drinking the tea open up the tea bag and use the contents as a face scrub. It鈥檚 less abrasive than commercial scrubs and, therefore, less likely to stimulate oil production which could exacerbate your blackhead problem. Use it twice a week as too much scrubbing is likely to irritate your skin. Afterwards use jojoba oil as a moisturizer. This oil closely matches to the skins own natural oil, sebum 鈥?won't clog up your pores and will leave your skin super soft. You can buy it from any health food shop and it鈥檚 very cheap.
