Can home steaming and suctioning kits really remove blackheads?

I've seen some drugstore devices that steam and then suction the pores. Will they do anything to lessen severe blackheads? I have too many blackheads to extract each individually using a dermatologist's extractor. Have you tried one that made a noticeable difference? Can you actually see anything being visibly removed as it's working, or do you just think you look a little smoother? Can home steaming and suctioning kits really remove blackheads?
Girl I feel what you are going through. Anytime you warm your face with water or steam, it opens the pores and makes it easier to clear the junk out. So obviously it will work. How long or often you do it I am sure will make a difference in your complexion. It sounds like you need a regimen that is just for your skin type. If you are wearing make up, get the correct type for your skin. Try not to wear it so often. Sometimes washing your face can strip your skin of natural oils causing more problems. I would do some mud masks and peel masks. Treat your face to good stuff every week. Also I did a cheap chemical peel (harmless) I bought from walmart...Girl, that disolved everything! There is a cooling gel to use afterwards. I suggest that only i you dont have open sores. But it works wonders. Also microdermabrasion is great. You can get that at Walmart also..and it has a tool that scrubs gently. These things may cost you some but it is definitely worth it. And when it is all said and done, Ortho Tri Cyclen birth control will clear your face and regulate your cycle and your hormones. Your face might just clear up then! Can home steaming and suctioning kits really remove blackheads?
it might be better to go and have a facial with extraction, that really works, should cost 50-70 dollars for an hours session
do the biore (sp?) strips. they work great!
Cleanse your face with unboiled milk, gently rub a coarse cloth dipped in milk to remove the blackheads. Steam your face with herbs like lavender, lemon peel and mint leaves added to the water and let the skin soak up its goodness.
