Believe it or not the best thing is an aspirin mask, plain old aspirin tablets in water. It creates an effervescent liquid which fizzes out the blackheads. Follow this up with a mild scrub (avoid anything too scratchy) to remove all that loosened sebum and you will see a difference after one application. Do this twice a week for a couple of weeks.

To prevent them, wash your face 2-3 times a day. Your pores produce oil to keep your skin moisturized and throughout the day, dirt sticks to the oil %26amp; clogs pores.





For oily skin, use Aloe After Sun Gel (found in stores near tanning lotions, its a green gel) this keeps your pores from producing as much oil

Another recommendation, apricot scrub! Use 2-3 times a week. It removes dead skin on the surface of your face that would normally clog your pores.

I use an aspirin mask. Take regular aspirin (as in Bayer Aspirin, not tylenol or anything) and crush it up. Add a few drops of water to make a paste. Put it on the area where the blackheads are and let it set for about 10 minutes. When you go to wash it off, use a gentle scrubbing motion to exfoliate. Works like a charm every time! Do NOT use this though if you are aspirin sensitive.





Also, I use Queen Helene Mint Julep mask the day after the aspirin treatment. That helps to get even more impurities out of my skin.
Neutrogena face cloths made specially for blackheads. My husband swears by them. They are too harsh for my sensitive skin and left me with flaking skin on my chin for about a week. If you have sensitive skin I would suggest scrubbing softly with a warm washcloth. If not try the Neutrogena!
