What's the easiest way to remove blackheads?

My cheeks are a bit sunken due to age, smoking and the odd missing tooth. I have quite a few blackheads on one side which are proving rather difficult to shift. Apart from steaming my face to open up the pores then squeezing them out, has anyone found an easier way? What's the easiest way to remove blackheads?
I had similar skin problems, due to smoking, aging, %26amp; sun exposure. The best thing I ever started doing for my skin was taking vitamins, %26amp; eating better. I take Vit C time-release capsules (1000 mg) every day, they cost about $10-15. Vit c helps fight the free radicals/pollutants found in cigarette smoke, %26amp; the time-release caps work throughout the day/evening, which is better for smokers, because vit c is diminished every time you have a cig.

I also take fish oil capsules, because they add oils to aging, dry or sallow skin. You'll see a significant change in 2-4 weeks. My skin has never looked better!

The cheapest, easiest way to cleanse deep down into the pores, is to use baking soda! Take a tsp. or a bit less, mix it with a mild skin cleanser (like Dove sensitive skin, or Spectro jel). Wet your face, apply this mixture, %26amp; wash, rinse well. It works wonders, %26amp; baking soda is safer than anything on the market..best $1 I ever spent! :) It also works as as exfoliant, %26amp; removes dead, dry skin. Use once/twice a week, %26amp; Your skin will look and feel smoother %26amp; younger.

Always use a good moisturizer: I use cocoa/shea butter lotion, mixed with aloe, %26amp; boiled carrot juice, crushed up vit c tablets. Sounds crazy, but it works!

DON'T USE RUBBING ALCOHOL...! That will make your skin a thousand times worse!!! (Been there, done that!)What's the easiest way to remove blackheads?
Ugh, you didnt have to give the description of sunken cheeks and missing teeth. Gave me a gross image of my math teacher. x[

Anyways, this is what I did just last night and it worked pretty good.

take a washcloth and run it under hot hot water. W/o ringing it out, put it over the blackheads, then when you take it away, quickly get some noxema (or w/e face wash you use) on it and rub/wash it in. Leave it on your face (dont wash it off yet!) Put some rubbing alhocol on a cottonball.

Now, wash the facewash off with hot water, and swipe the rubbing alcohol over it. Then, a minute or so later, get it wet with water and rub some face mask on. Leave the mask on overnight, and was off w/ water in the morning.

It worked really well for me, but the rubbing alcohol might dry out your skin...it all depends on your skin, I suppose.
I agree with Claire. If you want 100% garunteed removal of your blackheads.....get a facial. While a little more expensive than just buying an exfoliator, the Esthetician will do what is call a ';Pore Extraction'; by lanceting out the dirt in the blackheads therefore removing them. Its is then up to you to continue to cleanse and exfoliate regularly to keep the blackheads from returning full force. Another thing that might also help....Quit Smoking!
It sounds like you are a great candidate for a professional facial followed by some micro-dermabrasion. This process sucks them right out. Each treatment costs about $100. but you can get it much cheaper if you buy a series of them. You will look like a million bucks and your skin will feel amazing! -other than that, the only way to remove the blackheads will be to squeeze them out.
No matter what your age, some people have to use acne %26amp; blackhead treatment. It sounds like you need to use a facial treatment that is designed for blackheads. Avon has some really good products for acne %26amp; blackheads. Continue gentle steam treatments because opening your pores will help, but you need more. Try using Avon's Clearskin庐 products.

Clearskin庐 Blackhead Clearing Cleanser

Clearskin庐 Purifying Astringent Blackhead Clearing Formula

Clearskin Cleansing Pads

There are several other Clearskin products, but these are the main ones that treat blackheads. Go online %26amp; read the reviews about these. Everyone seems to love this stuff. Avon has been around for 121 years %26amp; is one of the few companies that still stands behind it's products.

You don't have to have an 'Avon Lady' anymore. You can order from an online Avon Rep. This is an actual Avon Rep who has a website through Avon. You can shop, read product reveiws from other customers, %26amp; ask your online Rep questions. You order online %26amp; Avon ships directly to you. If you use code REP20 at check out you can get free shipping to any US address this week.

You should make a mixture of baking soda and salty and use it to exfoliate. Lavender oil I heard also worked, steaming is good to.I hope I helped you.Sorry If I didn't.
